Hate to say what I am bout to as I am proud of what has happened. I am a white man who is married to a black woman and I have kids who are mixed like obama. The country has a long way to go. Granted a big step was taken but still a long way to go. It is historic and momentous but it does not solve any of the racial problems that plague not only our country but also the world. I spoke to my mother 2nite after it was over and she discouraged me so much. Now this is a woman who has 5 mixed grandchildren and more possible and I could hear the racism in her voice when she said, "I dont trust him but maybe with all he has at stake he will stay in line." Broke my fucking heart.

Actually, itz only been 221 years, prior to this we were already kings and queens within our own right. Truly the vote was rocked, but time will tell if true equality has been reached...
