Compare the fast tracking of this guys court marshal to that the traitor muslim Psychologist who killed his own men rather than allow them to deploy to Iraq - he is still in the military - he still is getting paid and we are paying for his hospital and legal defense costs
- there is a drastic difference the way Obama is handling these cases - I'm ok with this guy getting court marshaled - if there is evidence for it... but that traitor should have been hung for treason months ago.

When one enlists in the Military they come under Military Justice system, which is separate from our civilian system.
That is another reason why I left the Army, you lose your rights as a citizen. In the Army, you can go to jail for getting a sunburn or showing up late for work. No one called in sick or went to sick call unless you were dying, if you broke a bone you had better have a a good reason for.
That is how they get away with sending and keeping people in Gitmo, foreign countries, and torturing people. That is why we were called "GI" "Government Issue". You basically give up your rights of the average citizen. You become government property not a person.

ok neither is in the civilian system - so the rest is mote - both are in the military system and should be - hence he should have been hanged...

No, I play with you, I really don't think you are an asshole, nor do I think you are stupid. Young and misguided, hate, and anger issues for some reason.
I worked for 2 star Generals, you never would have made it that far. I don't think you would have made it through Basic Training, the Brothers would have taken you out.
The fact is I was in the Army and you were not. There are two types of soldiers who like the Army: the lifers which is cool if they are competent and those that stay in because they can't make it in the real world. It's that simple nothing in between.
I have been around some tough people a killer or two, seen murder, several suicides. Watchit, you are not a tough person or a killer.

No - I think I would have made it just fine - just don't think i'd ;like who I'd have become nor could I have slept with what i'd have done - even if it was in the right to do it...
I just would not have liked doing it... lucky we have people able to do these things and sleep well knowing they did what had to be done... Sadly we have people who break with many levels of brokenness.
