Question:Now that I am a producer how do I get my money??

A)Go to your Rude CP. CLick on View Wallet.  There you will see a list of every transaction you have made.  Including a neat drop down box to pick just payouts for the tax season!

Click on request payment.. this is what pops up:

Payouts are processed on the 1st and 15th of the month. ***Please Note : All payout requests need to be done by 11:59pm Est on the 14th and the 30/31st of the month. Payout requests made on the 1st and 15th will not be processed until the next payout date, regardless if it lands on a weekend or holiday. There are NO exceptions.

All accounts have a $100 holdback, after the holdback is met payout's can be requested in $50 increments.

We highly recommend that you do one lump sum payout on the 30th /31st and on the 14th.

US citizen's must have provided an SSN or tax id on your producer application to receive any payout's.

All payout's are done by check (US or Canada) or direct deposit (US only) or wire (US and International)

NO fees for Checks. Wires have a $25 fee for domestic and $50 for international, FEES are deducted from your payout.  Direct Deposit is $8

If you are international you can choose to do epassporte or wire only.

UK and Canada producers can have checks sent them. =)

I do want those producers to be aware of for those checks IF we have to issue a stop payment on those, it will cost and will be deducted from your payout for reissue.

Those are issued from the office.

So make SURE that your address and name are correct. For international mail, it is even more important since who knows how long it may or if it gets back to us.

Checks for the US are ordered through the bank and they do not charge for those stop payments, if they are needed.

There are soooo many ways to make money off of Rude.com!  Infact, I was told that last year they gave out $500,000 in rude referrals alone.  I have both guys and girls telling me how they make $10000 just by referring people.  The best part is what ever you put into it... is what you will get out of it.  If you work on it for 1 hour a day you eventually will make good money off of it.  If you only work on it one day out of months..

So How do you do it.  Well if you go to your Rude C.P (the wrench) and click on it.  Then go down to the 5th box on the right side... click on Promote Yourself!  There you will see links to everything from free videos to even the live houses.  All you have to do is post those links all over the net and thats it.  Remember the more people that see it and click on it the better.  Basically if they click on that link and then join rude and then Validates... you will get 14 chips per person.

You can also promote other videos and pictures on rude on other sites and get credit for those to by doing what is called Advanced Linking.  Let me show you an example:

Now if I wanted to post a link to the video and get credit for people looking at it and joining I would have to post the link to that video like this http://rude.com/TrinitySaij?u6m1pBD9vxy
Now if YOU wanted to post a link to this same video all you would have to do is take out the v/ and put your username (make sure you spell it correctly and use capitals if in your name) and the question mark

So lets say I wanted to promote a Rude Help Video and this is the link to the vid that explains all about Rude.com http://rude.com/v/sW84zFTwF6K
If I wanted to get credit for it I would take out that v and the backslash and this would be the new link to the exact same video http://rude.com/TrinitySaij?sW84zFTwF6K
Remember rude tracks by IPs over 5 days so even if they sign off and shut off thier computer.. you will still get credit if they come back on the 5th day and joins.  Remember because they track via IPs people that sign up using the same computer as you or the same internet connection.. you won't get credit for at all

Where should you post these links? Anywhere and Everywhere!  Don't put all your eggs in one basket!!  Remember Spamspace is played out.. everyone is there.. I tend to go after the small fries.. Find not as known places and promote there!

Remember the more people you get to click and join and validate.. the more money you make!!!
Please remember any money you make you can not cash out unless you are a producer.  And if you earn money from referrals before you get producer status.. they will take 50% when you get producer.. so keep in mind 50% of 0 is 0! So get producer status first and get out there and earn your cash!!! Also this is about cashouts- Hold backs

It is sooo simple too!!! Read on to find out how..no money out of your pocket… but you do have to DO SOMETHING to get it…but don’t worry it is very easy. I have won $1300 so far from Rude!

I am on my continuing quest to tell the world about Rude which is a wonderful ADULT community where anyone can earn free cash!! Think of it like a mixture between youtube and myspace, but only for adults which is so much nicer! I love that I can talk about anything there and I can do anything there and I do not get judged. Not being judged is important in this day and age where it seems everyone turns down their nose at every person that does not agree with their views. Oh and you can earn some extra dough!

About the site: Rude’s offical release date is January 1, 2007. That’s right.. it is only a year old. It has to date almost 1.5 million members in that short time. It started off as just a voyuer site with only eight cams and one chat room to 1000s of cams, millions of pictures, millions of videos, and tons of different types of things to do on the site.

Anyways, I am rambling again. I always get excited when I am talking about it. Rude is constantly giving out money. Last year they gave out over $25,000 in cash in just the contests not to mention $500K a year in referrals. So how can you get some of that cash?

Your first step is to go to Rude and join. Don’t worry it is free to join and no they won’t send spam to your email account at all.. trust me I have been on a year and so far..zero spam unlike myspace! Your next step will be to fill out your profile.. just a bit about you and yes you can hide what city you live in to keep creepy people away. And now you can start earning cash!! Here is one way…

1. Every month Rude has what they call a Rude Plug. Basically they have a theme of the month. All you have to do is upload a short vid (under 10 min) using that theme and click on XXX category then click on Rude Plugs. Thats it. Very easy. The most entries so far has been six people a month.. yup.. that means you have 1 in 6 chance to win $100 dollars which is the first place prize. The second place prize is $50 and third place you get cool Rude gear. So you actually have a 2 in 6 chance to win cash every month.. Also the best part… You don’t have to show your face.. or any nudity if you don’t want to!! This month’s theme is A Rude Resolution.. so all you have to do is make a video about what your resolution is on Rude and being that you are new.. you can say to learn all about the cool features on Rude or to meet new people! It is SOOO easy

So you heard about the Rude Plugs I blogged about.. here is another way to earn money. Remember every way I tell you about how to earn money on Rude it will be ways you can do it w/o showing any nudity or your face if that is what you are worried about. There are many people on Rude that do not do either and still earn cash.

What is a Rude Producer? A producer simply means that you add to Rude by uploading content. No you do not have to upload content more than that first time you completed your profile, but it does help if you want to earn more cash. It also means you can cash out money unlike a regular member. Producers also get discounts on a lot of different premium content. Remember any referrals you made as a non producers, they will take 50% from when you make producer status so if you plan on cashing out.. get the status before you make any money.

What do you have to do to become a Producer? You have to complete your regular profile on Rude by uploading at least one video, one picture, one profile picture, one welcome greeting, one quiz, one poll, upload pictures to your mood history and profile bits. Click here if you want to see an example of a non-nude profile. None of these have to be nude nor show your face!! This takes about maybe 15 min at the most! Then you will get the producer application, which generally take about 24-48 hours for the link to appear on your profile. You do need a webcam! Click here for some cheap ones. After you fill out your application you will need to show 2 forms of ID using your webcam. Yes at that time you will need to show your face, but only the tech approving your application will ever see it. It will take 24-48 hours to get your application approved (weekends can take longer).

What IDs can you use for the application? Any goverment issued ID. At least one ID must have a picture on it like a drivers license, passport, military ID, or state ID. Other options (but only if paired with a photo id) include your birth certificate or social security card.

So how do you earn money? One way is by promotion of your Rude page. When you sign up you choose either flat rate or percentage of chips purchases. Meaning if you choose flat rate all you do is have people sign up for Rude after going to your rude page (then validates-this is very important) and you earn $1 per person. If you choose a percentage, then you do not earn money when they sign up but you earn money if they buy chips which could benefit you a lot if they purchase a lot of things on Rude. I like flat rate because it is garrenteed. Now I must mention at this point that you can do this even if you are NOT a producer yet, but if you get producer account later they will take 50% of your earnings. If you have 0 then they get 0.. you get my drift..lol.. so sign up producer status quickly. Also they just added a subdomain for people to use that do not have that much content that you can send to people that will still get you money if they join and validate. Other ways to earn money is to take advantage of the different things Rude has to offer. You can sell videos (as long as you own them) that are up to forty min long (called Rude Flix).. which is great if you want an audience if you are say a film student.. You can sell picture galleries (as long as you own them) which are called Rude Pix) and again you don’t have to show any nudity or your face for any of these. You can set up a Rude Store, which is basically like setting up an ebay store with out the bidding (although I hear that is coming soon too) and you can put anything you want in your store. If you don’t see a category they are awesome about adding categories as long as you have items to fill them! Rude also has custom content where people order custom video clips and pictures.

Now for the cams have a tip feature. There are a couple different types of cams on Rude. As a producer you can do each one and no you don’t have to show your face or any nudity. Rude has voyeur cams, private show cams, and group show cams. Voyeur cams are a peek into peoples lives. You need a minimum of 2 cams in order to earn any money from your voyeur cams and broadcast a minimum of 5 hours a day or 35 hours a week. Rude also gives their producers a buy one get one free offer for the logitech Pro5000 which is an awesome web cam. Also if you do that you get free access to all voyeur cams on Rude. Private Show cams are private one on one shows where people can direct the performer to do things and they are pay/per minute.

Then there are Group Shows which are shows where numerous members can watch a performer but they can not direct. These shows can be free or pay shows. All shows have a tip option so people can tip if they like the show. All nudity shows have to be pay at this time. You can use group shows to get more people to check out your rude page and what you offer. You do NOT have to show your face or any nudity.

Rude is adding a new feature which is not 100% live but will be a huge money maker. They are adding a Sponsors section. Any producer can be sponsored. This is a brand new way of advertising but they are estimating $300-$1500 a month. I will have blogged about it here. Who can be sponsored?

The requirement right now is that anyone with a live house and offering 2 group shows per week is eligible. Meaning you MUST be a producer. When you go to your control panel (or space page) you will see a new link to set up sponsorships. This takes you to a page that will first give you an overview. Basically, by agreeing and setting up your sponsorship section, you will earn 40% of whatever sponsors Rude can find for your house and shows. We are having to put a lot of extra work into looking and advertising for sponsors so that is why this is 40% rather than the usual 50%. However, if you bring on board your own sponsors you will earn the extra 10%.

So upon setting up your sponsor section and submitting it to Rude, it is then waiting in line to be turned to “active.” We will only activate an account if we think we already have a suitable sponsor or that we can find you one within a reasonable amount of time. Once your account is active, what happens is that a COPY of your live house and your 2 group shows are put up and viewable in the new “Sponsored” areas of the live page. It is very important that Rude does this, since then Rude will be starting to collect data and statistics on your account. This is then what is used to hopefully convince a sponsor they should back you and your content. Rude ESTIMATES that sponsorships will range from between $300-$1500 per month per sponsor, you can have up to a max of 10 sponsors (obviously this takes time to build up). The amount Rude is able to secure for you with sponsorships will purely depend on how successful your house and live shows are, as well as your space page.

Now in that transition period, where we are trying to build up your stats to make you more attractive to an advertiser, users can still enter your house and group shows the regular way buy purchasing tickets, however, they can also enter free via the sponsor areas. They will not be able to chat, but they can view the live streams. They will still need to purchase access if they want to chat. Remember this transition period is very important (kind of the chicken and egg thing), Rude needs stats to show the value to advertisers, and Rude need advertisers to show value to you. Stick with it and Rude WILL find you a sponsor or hopefully several.

Ok, so once Rude find you a sponsor, what happens next?

Well the sponsor packages are based on a rotation of your live house and 2 group shows per week. So in other words, you will never need to do any extra work in your live house, but for every sponsor Rude lands for you, you will need to do 2 group shows. So Five sponsors would mean 10 hours of live group shows per week, and you would be of course earning very good money for this. You do not have to accept multiple sponsors. If you only want one or two that is fine, just let us know.

So now you accept that sponsor, what next?

The sponsor gets to brand and skin the sponsor pages with his own design and links. Remember this is basically an advertiser that has decided you are the person that would be good to represent his company, so any help you can give to get people clicking on his ads will of course help you. It is highly possible that if a sponsor is happy they will purchase another rotation from you or someone else.

Rude has currently have around 10 companies waiting for this to roll out and are very interested. Should this go anywhere near our estimations, we believe this could work out extremely well for everyone involved. However, bear in mind this is a totally new and revolutionary form of advertising, innovating in every way. So with that comes the risk of people not understand or wanting to try out new unchartered territory. I believe the odds are on our side though that this will in fact take off in a big way. If it does, you will be happy seeing more revenue and more viewers and more exposure to all other areas, the members will be happy since sponsors are now covering the costs (perhaps this means a big jump in tips), the advertisers will be happy as they are seeing a value for money advertising campaign, and lastly we will be happy because of ALL of the above!

As you will see there is an option in the sponsor set up to allow extra payment and make the chat free to viewers also. Rude believes the chance for your house and group shows to really take off with multiple sponsors means that this option should be set allow this. Rude will not know for sure until we get into this deeper, but we assume those allowing free sponsored chat will get many more viewers than those that do not. This is totally your choice though, we understand that free chat means a lot of people in the chat and the possibility of things getting hectic. We do have an idea for this though (more later). So anyway, your choice on the chat, but keep in mind free chat, means many more viewers and this in turn means many more hits to your content and hence higher numbers that advertisers will see as more value with the end result being higher sponsorship amounts and more companies wanting to sponsor you.

Last point here is product placement, there is an option to accept this. This will mean you are allowing product placement on your content, this could be in the form of lube, sex toys, clothing, electronics really limitless to the stuff you could be sent to use in your shows. Your choice to accept this or not.
Now, the reason I have gone into so much depth here on a board post about this is because, Rude does not want anyone to create a sponsor account unless they are serious and fully intend to follow through. It takes a lot of work on Rude’s end to find companies, convince them to try it out and then after all this, you decide you changed your mind. It is a big waste of time for us and we really only want to get the serious people signing up for this. This also goes for anyone that does sign up, it is SOOO important that you follow through with the sponsorship requirements. We simply cannot have no shows to cam shows, or unreliable people. This would make a sponsor leave and NEVER want to try again, meaning it costs other producers because a happy sponsor will want to take on multiple rotations and other producers to sponsor.

This was a huge project to get built into the existing system Rude already has. We still have many other things to add in to make it bigger, better and easier for all involved, but this at least gets it rolling. Rude will be working directly with producers that land sponsors and walking them through everything, so don’t worry too much if some of this is not 100% clear about how to deliver the purchased sponsorships, Rude will work with you one on one at that time for each producer.
