Want You (Poem)
5:13AM on July 14, 2011
I want you, want you.
Doesn't matter that you're not here,
I want you,
I don't care,
Knowing you'll disappoint,
I'm a willing captive,
Why fight?
There's no point.
I want you.
To hold you in my arms,
To smell your sweat,
Inhale your breath.
You inside of me,
That's where you belong,
Where you were meant to be.
I want you, bald, crooked or crazy,
I really don't care,
I just want you to be there.
I want to open your door,
Because I have my own key,
I want to come in,
Because you too, now want me.
I want to stare in your eyes,
I want your promises,
Even if they are lies.
I want your body,
Warm in my bed,
I want you near me,
I want you so bad.
