 I found this list at searchwarp, it is apparently the top 100 dating conversation starters (written by TJ Smith). Thought it might be interesting to share it here.
My view is that although having a set first date formula is probably not to be recommended, I dont think having some stock topics of conversation (like this), to fall back on if things are maybe a bit shy and awkward at first, can be a bad thing. Or can it?! What do you think? Is this list any good in your opinion? Not organic enough in your view if you have to draw on something like this? Bit intrusive? Too bland?? I think, hmmm, it's a pretty good list, though as the author stresses, anything someone doesnt want to discuss, never push it.
Lastly, apart from your sparkling demeanour and wit (of course! goes without saying) have YOU yourself got any tip top topics to get into with your first date, that tend to help the evening go with a ..errr..bang ? Or indeed, any no go areas ? Be as brief as you like but I'd love to get a lil feedback, or even a thumbs up or thumbs down. Levity
